Len’s Research has paid off nicely with The Harvard Logarithmic Selector.  He has found that playing the Exacta (a 4-horse box based on point totals in the TOT column) in certain situations has paid off very nicely. 

For a race to qualify for a play there must be a minimum of eight entrants and at least two of those horses must be at morning lines of 5/1 or higher.  Also, there can be no horse in the race that is 7/5 or lower in odds.  These plays will come up about two or three times on the average card.

Playing this way hits close to 40% of the time, with the average payoff in the $97.00 range.  Many, many will pay $150.00+.  Check out the $1,024 in the example above, which is the highest we have seen in our research.  And there are plenty in the $300 to $600 range (based on a $2 wager).
