Analysis of Original Sales Copy

OK, and this cannot be emphasized enough, the Principle behind this method is very, very sound.  It covers myriad critical handicapping factors and looks at them from several different angles. 

However,  the paper version was very difficult to figure and required multiple cross checks.  They all make sense, but going thru the whole process could easily take 30 minutes or more per race.  So while the author emphasized the word ‘simple’ in his text, it definitely is not.

If done as instructed, the method did produce a high rate of winners (@37%), place horses (@63%) and show horses (@86%).  And while there were plenty of lower prices, the overall win mutuel was close to $9.20.  Our figures were actually a bit better than the author’s and we looked at @133,000 races.

This is not a tote board method! You do not watch the odds or record changing odds!

As you can see from the following, World’s Greatest works extremely well on all tracks, at all distances and on all surfaces.  Most cards will have at least 3 or more winners and an additional several place and show horses, and using the suggested Exacta strategy presented in the manual will provide more payoffs.

Glancing My Way popped the gate and went all the way at $9.20 with Kate the Smate running 2nd — the Exacta paid $38. 

The #10 horse won at $12.60 in a tough Breeders’ Cup heat at Del Mar.  AG Bullet ran 2nd and the Exacta came back at $67.80.

 

Fair Grounds and the longest shot in the small field won easily to pay $21.20.

 

Honor Azteca rolled late to pay $12.80 in a high line claimer at Fairgrounds.

 

Breeders’ Cup Day at Del Mar and Gezora overcame trouble to win at $20.20!!

 

Transactional Guy looked good coming on thru the stretch and paying a nice $11.60 at Gulfstream (by the way, while World’s Greatest does well everywhere, the overall win/place rate was especially high at Gulfstream)

 

You will also get plenty of hits with horses in the 7/5 to 7/2 range — World’s Greatest insures against runouts this way.  Lion Lake paid $5.20 for the win.

Restore took the 7th race at Fairgrounds at a nice overlay 0f $18.80.  The #9 horse ran 3rd.

Tiny field at Santa Anita but that did not stop Thirsty Trickster from beating the odds on favorite and paying $9.00 for the victory.  The #3 horse ran 2nd and the Exacta paid $24.80 in a tiny field.

 

Fairgrounds and a solid win from Restore at $10.80 (the rule in this case is to play the longest shot if there are two horses listed in the bottom boxes).  Also this race displays the how nice Exacta/Trifecta payoffs can be had with this program.  The full details are in the manual but by boxing the top four horses in the TOT column you would have hit a $101.60 Exacta and $238.00 Trifecta.

Tampa Bay and Jen D’Oro scores easily at $8.60.  Again you will get a lot of hits in the mid-priced range, a built in safeguard of the program to prevent runouts.

Uffda was 2/1 on the morning line but won smartly and paid an overlaid $8.60.  World’s Greatest is excellent at hitting overlaid prices.
