A Quick Note:  Andy Beyer on the subject of Computer Handicapping Software:  ‘Given my age, (84), I have been a Daily Racing Form user for 65 of those years.  I pretty much turned my back on the developments on the computer software side and continued to dig into my pps in the drf.  Then somewhere around 2014, my late friend, Steve Davidowitz said ‘Andy, you really have to take a look at this stuff.  I have found software to be an enormous aid in my handicapping — it can do so many things you and I simply can’t.’  So I begrudgingly took some time to take a look, and now I have go to say that any horseplayer who hopes to make a go at this game can show dramatic improvement using qualify handicapping software.  Here’s the thing:  the human brain in the average handicapper’s head can may process five or six factors at the same time.  But a computer program can process hundreds of factors in an instant, and in doing so can weave together positive patterns that are totally hidden from the past performance reader.  I do not make endorsements, but I would advise that you look for a company that has been in business for many years to locate quality handicapping software. 

So Why not leave the decision process up to a sophisticated program that can multi-task handicapping patterns rather than to your own mind?  Take care.
